Eva and Hilario have lived in Murches for over 30 years. The family own a small cartographic publishing business called Turinta (www.turinta.pt) whose offices are conveniently situated beside Villa Belvedere. Turinta specialises in road maps and town plans and has an excellent guide to Lisbon and the surrounding area. Eva (Scottish) and Hilario (Portuguese) enjoy making Casita guests feel at home while Jamie, their son looks after the day-to-day running of Turinta. Dorothy, Eva's mother, lives on the ground floor of Villa Belvedere with grandson Jamie living upstairs. Guests by the pool are often treated to freshly-baked scones or chocolate cake when Dorothy is baking! For those who miss their pets, Bonnie will welcome you exuberantly at every opportunity - blond, long-legged, beautiful and not a lot between the ears is how she has been best described! She is, however, kept behind gates for those who don't like dogs. |
